BAH!

Dear Subconscious:

Why doest thou mock me so? I was doing so well, there. And then you just had to hit me with another dream of her. And not even a nice one, either. Noooooooo...this one had to be about her not remembering who I was, let alone that I was ever in her life there. Which, really, isn't probably too far off from reality, if I postulate about it. And I am now, thanks to you, Subconscious. And now I'm wide awake, after being curled up in a fetal position for half an hour. It's been a while since I've brooded for a week about this, thanks...

It's times like this when I really hate you, Subconscious. I realize you're not going anywhere (y'know, unless I have some kind of freak accident that would result in you being rendered dormant), and that your nature is my nature. And really, there's nothing I can do but lay there and take it. So I don't even know why I'm writing you, other than to voice my displeasure of what just transpired in my head not even an hour ago. Jerk...

BAH!

...started off the day with a bit of snow. Said bit of snow steadily progressed into a full-blown "Winter Advisory". The township of Fremont began looking like a giant Slurpee, with the snowplows getting the main thoroughfares and a bit of the major side streets. Delivering was a high-stress ordeal, fraying the nerves. At least most of the ones expecting the nummy sammiches took pity on me and tipped fairly well. Except for those teenagers. I fart in their general direction...

...the main owner of the cluster of JJ's in the area decided that we have no reason to close early, and should stay open AND delivering up to the usual closing time of 10pm. Despite the fact that no plow has even come close to our access road, and the drifting was starting to get into the wheel-well area of our cars in height. Despite the fact that the snow was coming "down" pretty heavy, and by "down" I mean "horizontally", because the wind was blowing at a confirmed 20-25 miles an hour at the time (4:30 pm). Despite the fact that there was a full-blown BLIZZARD WARNING that was to take effect around 9pm, a full hour before the store was to close. It's already rather hairy trying to deliver freaky-fast at night in regular good weather; imagine trying to do my job in pitch black, snow blowing and drifting, and the winds trying to play teatherball with the Blood Mobile...

...home now...going to read for a bit and then snuggle and listen to the wind howl and moan outside this cozy old house...from what I understand, tomorrow's going to be another one of those "interesting" days at work...I pray that God once again grants me the patience, wisdom and fortitude to get through another one...day by day, it seems...

...okay, so I splurged a bit today after work (Black Friday and all), and got the original Star Wars trilogy boxed set, just to have it in widescreen. Got home, opened it up, and OMC THE ORIGINAL THEATRICAL VERSIONS CAME WITH THEM!!!!!!!! Fanboy JOYGASM!

...last night, before going to bed, my cousin Katie managed to PM me on Facebook before I was about to log off...seems there's been another suicide watch scare with our darling Rosa...don't know what triggered it, I do know there's been some things happening this past couple of weeks that may have compounded to factor into the whole mess...I called and talked to Kayla, as she was perhaps the last one to talk to Rosa that night to see what was going on...long story short, Lee checked up on her after he got off work, and the last bit of information I gleaned was a text from Kayla saying that Lee found her sleeping...after asking if it was Good Sleep or Bad Sleep, I was told it looked like the former...so, sometime today, I'll need to try to either get ahold of Rosa or Kayla to see if she did, in fact, wake up this morning...

...gads, I wish I could be there for my cousin(s) more than I'm able to, really...

...good morning, world...I say in all ironic cheeriness...yes, I'm still alive, I'm sorry to say...been spending a lot of time on Facebook, depositing my brain droppings there, which really don't amount to much of anything...just an errant thought here, a mindless ideation there, nothing too earth shattering...but then again, most of my blog posts here can usually be described with words like "mindless", "pointless" and "depressing"...oh, there's also "waste of time", and "uses too many big words for anyone from Kansas to comprehend"...but I digress...

...still alive, as I mentioned before...I'm sure that news will make some people happy, and probably even more people disappointed...mayhaps I stay alive less out of morbid curiosity, and more as a big "screw you" to everyone who would rather I not be breathing the same air they are...eh, they're too self-contented and delusional for me to care about really...

...yep, no point of this post, other than I haven't had a good one on here for a while (Facebook, again; fantastic time-waster that is)...time to get ready to go to work now...
